The Peninsular Sailing Club Selangor (PSC) was established in 2016 by four senior members of the Royal Selangor Yacht Club seeking greater freedom to develop a sailing-focused club. Founded with the goal of providing affordable, inclusive sailing and racing opportunities for people of all races, nationalities, ages, and financial backgrounds, PSC emphasizes accessibility and community over exclusivity. Starting with used National Squib keelboats imported from the UK, the club has grown steadily and now boasts a diverse fleet including Squibs, Optimists, and Laser 2s. PSC operates year-round with regular Sunday sails and fosters a welcoming environment for newcomers and experienced sailors alike, supported by facilities such as a cafeteria, washrooms, and a surau for prayers, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment in a clean, wildlife-rich marina setting. The club continues to expand its membership and promote family sailing in Malaysia.

Do you need prior experience to join? Absolutely not! This is one of the most common questions we get, and the answer is a resounding NO. Whether you've dreamt of sailing your entire life or have never even stepped foot on a boat, you are more than welcome here. Our experienced members are dedicated to sharing their knowledge and will happily guide you through every step of your sailing journey, from the very basics to advanced techniques. You can truly learn everything you need to know about sailing right here at the club, from scratch!
